With a strong academic foundation, Datuk Syed Mohd Hapes holds a BTECH Higher National Diploma in Computing from the University of Wales, Newport (2005–2007). He also completed his Foundation studies at the International Universiti College Technology of Twintec (2003–2004) and earned a Certificate in Computer Technician from Titi Sinaran Akademik (2002–2003).
